Portuguese Meeting
Portuguese Meeting was organised by Escola Básica e Secundária Bispo D. Manuel Ferreira Cabral Portugal. The context of the project is mainly on the Portuguese Language Teaching with Suggestopedia Methodology and the Cultural activities. 3 Teachers, 22 students took part from the Host School. 11 Teachers and 22 students participated from the partner schools.
The Activites in the project are listed below:
Portuguese Peer-Teaching
The lessons followed the suggestopedic cycle of four stages: Introduction, Session, Elaboration and Production.
At the session, they recited a libretto in Portuguese and English to the background of classical music.
During the elaboration, the learners read from the libretto in a communicative way practicing the language with didactic games, poems and songs.
History Lesson in Portuguese
Visit of Town Hall
Guided tour (walk) in Santana (Viewpoint- Belvedere over the sea, waterfall)
Madeira Theme's Park with workshop of pottery and bakery with peer teaching language activities
Trip to Funchal
- Visit to Tropical Garden - Cable car to old town - Visit to open Market - CR7 Museum
All day trip (Tour of the island) with peer teaching activities
Historical center of the picturesque city of Kutná Hora
Meeting evaluation (parallel workshops for students and teachers) Teachers' meeting (Mobility Tool, TwinSpace etc.)
Multicultural buffet and ceremony of delivery of the certificates, Peer teaching through sports activities.
